15 Insane Mothers Posting Their Insanity To Facebook

When it comes to parenting, everyone is going to have different styles, methods, thoughts, and opinions, and that's fine. Facebook's 'group' feature is a way for parents to connect online to ask and answer each other's questions. Like-minded parents can find each other, which can be a great thing, but it can also be a concerning thing. It is actually insane what some parents are willing to share about their parenting methods online with complete strangers.

Many of them are fully admitting to some horrific things that are somewhat shocking to see. Everyone can be a parent, but that doesn't mean everyone should be one. Most people know that Facebook is full of insane people of all kinds, but this might just be some of the worst out there. Shared by users on Reddit, here are 15 insane parents exposing themselves and their crazy parenting methods online for anyone to see.

Maybe it's the 'unschooling' thing

Anonymous member Apr 11, 2023 • I know schooling is a struggle for a lot of our kids but I'm really struggling to get my 9 year old to read. We've been unschooling this year as other approaches placed to much demand on him. I have tried every possible way under the sun to teach him to read. I know he wants to be able to read but he also refuses to even remotely try to learn. Any materials or books or apps I try to use he says are for babies. He won't even do the alphabet song bc it's for babies. He's a smart kid and more than capable. Does anyone else deal with this. I feel like my kid is the only kid that can't read at this age and like I'm just failing him. I've taught my 3 other kids to read but he's my most spicy child out of all of them. 5 69 comments

Doesn't sound right

My 5 month old only weighs 8.9lbs. He was 7.2lbs at birth. Is that a normal weight for a 5 month old? I feel like he should have been at least 14lbs by now. EBF 33 82 comments

Start saving for Harvard

Since most of you have older kids, did your gifted kids show signs at a young age. And vise versa did some kids excel young but then end up average? I don't care but I'm wondering if I need to save for a pricey college know..she doesn't HAVE to go to an Ivy league or whatever. Also I'm assuming I would get no financial aid) (I My 21 month old can count to 20 (it's a little mumbly after ten but it's almost clear), knows the alphabet and started saying the sounds of some letters, knows her colors, tons of animals and their sounds. I read some of these milestones are for 4&5 year olds. I may be overthinking this.... 26 110 comments

Toxins, guys

We want to buy a new RV and noticed many have "convection/ microwave ovens" that can do either or. I'm wary and not finding good info online. Anyone know more about convection setting in a microwave, if it's toxic? Like Comment 1 comment Send convection simply means the way it is heated. it's a fan. literally. so instead of heating down in one concentrated area, it is circulating for an even heat. Like Reply

Thoughts about armpits?

Anonymous member • 13m Parents of high school students: What do you think about a cis female teacher with visible hairy armpits? (vs the 'norm' of shaved armpits) PS, they have already been exposed to hairy legs. 18 comments

Not the dye

So, two nights ago we were in the ER with my 20 month old for a 105 fever and severe lethargy, to the point they were worried about his being completely unresponsive. At the time, I didn't even think about. the Motrin they were giving him, just worried about him feeling better. Well, it had dye in it. We have never given him dye, because of this group as well as my own research, so this was our first experience with it. Y'all. He has been irritable, aggressive, hitting, pinching, kicking, all of which is VERY out of character for him. He also hasn't been sleeping well, at night or at nap time. How long will this last? How long until it gets out of his system? It's horrible. 2 7 comments

Hmmm…

Anonymous member 7m. Hi! I have a 10th grader who I'm planning on pulling out of public school next school year. I have a question that I know sounds so unethical, (which is why I'm posting. anonymously). He really wants to be a pilot and he can enroll in pilot school as a 16-year-old. This is his career goal and we want to help him; however, we want to pull him out of public school to "homeschool" him under a private charter so that can be his sole focus. We would enroll with Would I be able to have him do pilot school instead of traditional strict homeschooling and still be able to print out a H.S. diploma when he's 18? Not sure if I'll need transcripts, but if so, could I fabricate something to make it look like he took traditional classes? If his career plan is to be a pilot, I'd rather kickstart that sooner than later. 1 ✓ Like Comment ~ Send

No movies with bad children

Any suggestions on nice Disney / pixar films for a 4 year old. She's feisty enough but the films she's seen recently are not helping at all. Matilda - naughty and has a naughty song The little Mermaid - disobeys her dad Brave - very rude and poisons her mum Wonka - verruca Salt V Lilo and Stitch - very naughty and rude BFG - thinks she's going to get snatched in the night You get the idea. She's only just got into sitting and watching something and I'm struggling ✓ Like Q Comment Send Share 39

Answers? Monopoly Go?

ER m Maybe I'm being paranoid....but does this look like Wiccan symbols? My daughter plays monopoly go with her friends and she showed me this in one if the games and asked what it says. I know the middle one looks like a symbol but I'm just not sure and I tried to Google but no luck- honestly I'm not even sure what to really look up. Something about this just gave me the creeps it's the first and only time she's aid she's seen it in the game. ESS AIN h WL'91W W2'91 ՅՈ 088 I 17 comments WE'LLW WLLY 5 15

Pink, unacceptable

Anonymous member 1h- I need advice ladies! So the other day my son came home from daycare with one of those pop it bracelet that was pink & purple and a drawing that was pink. The daycare gave all the kids those bracelet. Honestly the drawing I don't really care about but I don't like that fact that they gave him a pink & purple bracelet. I decided to let it go this time but if it happens again I'm definitely going to bring it to the owners attention. How do you guys think I should tell her? I don't want to sound rude but I personally don't like my son wearing girl colors. He's only 3 and he's not the type to like pink girl colors, when he draws he always picks the dark colors. Btw, this a new daycare hes going too not sure if this matters.
